It is 5:30am Thursday morning & I am wondering if 21 of our 22 bags will arrive today from Milan! All of the Christmas donations & our personal things are in those bags. We do have 7 hockey bags of Christmas stockings & donations to work with today as they were brought over last month. Today we will go to the special needs school & bring Christmas to about 5O children, 15 teachers and workers. Then we will split up and go to two hospitals to do the same. One is a cancer hospital. The team is very positive even though we just have the clothes on our backs & had a number of things go wrong so far. We still sense that God is with us.

After a long trip, we have all arrived safely in Cluj, Romania! We had to take a round about way as the Cluj airport was fogged in. We were instead flown to Oradea which is a 3 hour drive to Cluj. The airlines provided a bus. Unfortunately almost all of our baggage is still in Milan, Italy! We are hoping it will arrive tomorrow (Thursday) but who knows. We do need it because we start to visit tomorrow. We go to the special needs school and children’s hospital. One other disappointment was that we arrived too late for Jan to do her workshop with special needs teachers and workers… All in all, we are doing very well and encouraged.
